ACCOUNT / SUBSCRIPTION
Account & Subscription
Questions about account creation, retrieving subscriptions, refreshing configurations and moving between devices. Complete account actions in the user panel, and import subscription content only into trusted clients.
Do I need an email address to create a QC VPN account?
No. You can create an account with a username and password, without an email address. Choose credentials you can remember and do not reuse on other services, and store your login details securely. After creating an account, open the user panel to view plans, retrieve your subscription and submit tickets.
Where can I get my subscription link after purchase?
After signing in to the user panel, open the client download or account overview section and retrieve the subscription for your platform. Import the subscription in the client rather than sharing the link publicly or pasting it into an untrusted website. When changing route configurations, use the client's subscription update feature instead of repeatedly creating local configurations.
How do I update my subscription link?
Find the current subscription in your client, run the subscription update or refresh the configuration, then wait for the route list to reload. If the update fails, confirm that your account subscription is still valid, that the current network can reach the user panel, and that the saved subscription in the client is complete. Do not edit link parameters manually. If it still cannot be updated, submit a ticket from the user panel with the client name and error message.
Do I need to purchase again after switching devices?
No. Switching devices does not require another purchase. QC VPN supports unlimited devices, so the same account's valid subscription can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. On a new device, retrieve the client and subscription again from the user panel. When an old device is no longer in use, delete its local configuration to avoid confusion.
CONNECTION / DIAGNOSIS
Connection & Troubleshooting
Troubleshoot in order: subscription, client, system permissions and current network. Change only one setting at a time to identify which part is causing the connection issue.
Why can't I connect after importing my subscription?
First confirm that the subscription updated successfully and that selectable routes appear in the client. Then check the system time, network connection and the client's connection permissions. Try another route and reconnect. If no route connects, restart the client and update the subscription again. When submitting a ticket, include the platform, the client's message, the selected region and whether you changed networks before the issue occurred.
Why can only one app not access the internet through the proxy?
A common cause is rule mode: requests from that app may not match a rule that sends traffic through the proxy. The app may also use its own connection method or retain an old cache. Temporarily switch the client to global mode to test. If global mode works, the issue is usually related to rule matching. After testing, return to the mode suited to daily use and update the rules or subscription configuration.
What should I do if the connection drops after switching from Wi-Fi to another network?
Switching networks changes the local connection environment, so the existing session may not continue. Disconnect the client first, confirm that the new network can browse normally, then reconnect to the selected route. If the client still shows connected but pages do not load, disconnect completely and establish the connection again. If necessary, close and reopen the client so the system reloads network permissions and routes.
The client says it is connected, but webpages still won't open. What should I do?
Use different websites first to determine whether one site or all requests are affected, then check the client's current mode and whether the system proxy is active. Try another regional route, update the subscription and reconnect. Browser extensions, old proxy settings or the local DNS cache may also affect the result. Change one setting at a time so the cause remains identifiable.
ROUTE / PERFORMANCE
Speed & Routes
Route performance depends on the local network, cross-border links and the target service. When choosing a route, control the test variables first, then evaluate it for your specific use case.
How should I handle slowdowns during peak evening hours?
During peak hours, the local carrier gateway, target website and selected route can all affect performance. On the same device, pause background downloads and sync tasks, then test a geographically closer route. If nearby routes are still slow, try another route type in the same region. Do not rely on a single speed test; page loading, video seeking and sustained connections are more useful indicators.
How should I choose a route region?
Start with a route that is close to your current location and meets the target service's regional requirements. For regular browsing and everyday tools, nearby regions are usually a good choice. When you need content from a specific region, select the corresponding exit location. QC VPN covers 90+ countries / 200+ routes. With many routes available, test a small, consistent shortlist instead of switching frequently and repeatedly rebuilding app sessions.
Why does the same route perform differently at different times?
The full path includes the local network, carrier gateway, cross-border link, route entry point and target service. Congestion or routing changes at any point can affect real-world performance. Background tasks, wireless signal quality and the target website's own load can also make a difference. Compare routes under the same device, network and destination conditions, and judge them by sustained use.
What should I check first when using AI Tools or Streaming services?
First check whether the target service has its own requirements for account region, content region or exit location, then choose a matching route. If the page opens but sign-in, playback or conversations fail, clear the target service's old session and test again. Avoid switching regions repeatedly in a short period. A route only provides the relevant network exit; the target service determines available content and account access.
BILLING / REFUND
Billing & Refunds
Monthly subscriptions and data packages manage traffic differently. Before paying or upgrading, check the current plan and order details shown in the user panel.
What monthly subscription plans are available?
Monthly plans are: ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Traffic resets monthly from the activation date, and mid-cycle upgrades calculate the price difference based on the remaining days. Choose based on your usage frequency, video quality and file-transfer needs rather than a single session's usage.
How are data packages billed, and do they expire?
Data packages remain available until used and never expire. Options are: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. Data packages suit irregular usage and cumulative traffic management, while monthly subscriptions reset traffic each month from the activation date. Choose the billing method that fits your usage pattern.
When does monthly subscription traffic reset, and how are mid-cycle upgrades calculated?
Monthly subscription traffic resets each month on the activation date, not at the start of the calendar month. For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is calculated based on the remaining days. Before upgrading, check the current plan, remaining traffic and settlement details in the user panel. If the displayed information does not match your expectations, pause the submission and verify it through a ticket.
Which payment methods are supported?
Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. For payment, use the order flow in the user panel and follow the details shown on the checkout page. Do not transfer funds through pages from unknown sources, and do not give your account credentials or subscription content to someone else to operate. After payment, return to the user panel to check the order and plan status.
How do I request a refund?
QC VPN offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. To apply, sign in to the user panel, open the ticket section, select the relevant order and describe your refund request so the order status can be verified. After submitting, you can track progress and provide additional information in the same ticket. The ticket response determines the final outcome.
